find this example really good =) so wanna share
Scenario:
Time now is 11pm. You had a long day at work, and you just got home. Your other half is already home, showered and watching the tv. When you stepped into the house, he/she says: "Honey, can i have a cup of coffee please?"
What would be your first reaction?
Would it be this?
"What? coffee? I just got home from work. You had an early day, and the moment I got home, you asked me to make you a cup of coffee??"
you will probably feel very unhappy and then start an argument, or debate, or disagreement, or whatever you call it. and both of you will end the nite feeling lousy
or you can choose to think this way..
"He/she waited hours for me, just to have a cup of coffee with me"
and both of you will have a happy ending for the night
the choice is yours~
